Luxis Avaram (R-GOP) has officially been sworn in as RNC Leader, succeeding JP9893 (R-GOP). Mr. Avaram will enter a brief interim period before officially becoming the permanent RNC Leader on 20 October.
Mr. Avaram previously served as RNC Leader between March - June 2009. During that time, he was elected Titulia's 4th President - succeeding Alex Pijanowski. He lost re-election in May 2009 and was succeeded by Libertarian Dennis McVicker. Mr. Avaram later went on to serve on the General Court briefly and in December 2009, he made a brief presidential bid - but lost to incumbent Linardist Pres. Gregory Hock. He made a return to the RNC in Mid-Summer 2010 and was appointed Deputy RNC Leader by Former RNC Leader JP9893. Mr. Avaram went on to succeed JP as both GOP Branch President and RNC Leader.
The RNC Council approved his interim leadership on October 17,2010 and he is slated to take office as permanent (elected) RNC Leader on Oct. 20,2010 at the end of the election.
Mr. Avaram was selected was Former Pres. Dennis McVicker's running mate for the October 2010 Presidential Election and was successfully elected garnering 54% of the vote. He will take office as President McVicker's Vice-President.
